Hello Everyone,
Some of you probably know that I'm a member of the First Parish Church in Lincoln, MA. Occasionally, the church invites lay members to deliver the sermon. I recently volunteered for the job and delivered a sermon called "Grace Happens." In it, I told the story of something really extraordinary that happened to me two years ago, during the winter of 2011. I won't give away any of the details until you have a chance to read the sermon, or listen to the recording. That way, I hope the story will surprise you as much as the events themselves surprised me!
Just one disclaimer. I do talk about spiritual matters during the sermon, so if that's not your cup of tea, you're duly warned! Let me also say that I don't talk about these topics when I'm teaching Alexander lessons, unless a student brings them up. Even then, I'm very circumspect in what I say, since my students don't come to me for my opinions on these matters.
