Seasons greetings to all of you. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a Winter Solstice filled with light and warmth! I want to share a beautiful video with you. The men's a cappella singing group Cantus is singing Bobby McFerrin's setting of the 23rd Psalm. You'll notice that Bobby McFerrin changed the words of the psalm, in a way that I think is quite lovely. He dedicated the song to his mother. Even though it's not strictly a holiday song, I think it is in the spirit of this time of year. I hope you enjoy it!
By the way, for those of you in the Boston area, once again I’m participating in a winter solstice service this year. Like last year, it's at the First Parish Church in Lincoln, 14 Bedford Road, Lincoln; and it's on Friday, December 21st at 7 P.M. This service will honor the longest night with music, dance, storytelling and ritual. And in the middle of the service, there will be a meditation in darkness followed by a candle lighting ceremony. So if you have an interest in all things pagan, by all means come and join us. It’s going to be beautiful!
Best wishes of the season to all of you!
